ADobe’d: A Creatives workshop on the tips and tricks of Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Photoshop is the common medium by which the simplest to the most complicated forms of print advertising is done. Having a Photoshop workshop ensures that each Creatives member is capable of operating and working around it while incorporating concepts of art and advertising. This workshop would not only be open to the creatives department, but to all members of UP AdCore.
AffiliateD: Organization tie-ups for advertising campaigns around campus
Student organizations in UP Diliman would be made aware of the advertisement services that the organization offers that entails a very minimal fee. Because we want to train the members to run a student advertising agency, doing advertisements for other organizations is a good training ground in incorporating client objectives to building relationships with clients, conceptualization and execution.
Eco-Active
The current UPAdCore campaign with the USC, Eco-Active, would be further pushed. It aims to practice of a greener lifestyle towards a more sustainable UP Diliman. With that, UP AdCore would further produce publicity materials and new campaigns to make the UP Students aware of the objectives of the USC.
ADmix: The UP AdCore Exhibit Series
The UP AdCore members are to submit their own advertising works, featuring products of a wide range to show the flexibility of our creative abilities. Other media aside from print could also be used. A week-long exhibit (in UP and in a mall) would be held, to make the university and others be aware of UP AdCore’s core values and creative abilities. If feasible, a weekend event would also be organized, in cooperation with SEAL to celebrate the advertising works of the members.
ADvertising: The UP AdCore Alternative Classroom Learning Experience (ACLE)
As part of UP’s ACLE, a talk by a speaker or company (ad agency) that deals with advertising would be organized. This would make the UP students, even those not from AdCore, be aware of the movement in the advertising agency, ethics, and its forms. Students would also be well-acquainted with the job requirements sought and the opportunities advertising offers.
